Welcome to the Fullmo MovingCap Service Portal!

Here you will find information, technical documentation, software and support for Fullmo MovingCap - intelligent compact drives with integrated control for decentralized automation. MovingCap combines precise servo motion with web access, Python, fieldbus and digital I/O - for machines, fixtures, feeding systems, laboratory automation and semi-automated workstations.

Fresh from the industrial region of Lake Constance: MovingCaps are developed and produced in Germany at Fullmo GmbH in 88677 Markdorf.

Your MovingCap benefits

MovingCaps know your absolute position, can handle EtherCAT, TCP/IP sockets, CANopen, CiA 402, and understand your application coordinates. They enable flexible I/O-controlled movements and can be programmed with your own sequences via the website, Python and Kickdrive. Without any master control.

  • Quick commissioning: The MovingCap drives are designed so that they can be commissioned quickly and easily. Using the web interface and commissioning software, you can test, set and use the drives with little effort. For typical movement sequences such as "when input 1 comes, always turn 180° forwards", there are sample projects that can be loaded into the drive via Kickdrive.

  • Always know where you are: MovingCaps use absolute length measuring systems or multiturn position encoders, and are therefore ready to move immediately after switching on, without the need for a reference run. Via the website, you can set up your MovingCap in just a few steps so that you can specify all positions in application coordinates (e.g. "angular position of the turntable"). Gear ratios are taken into account, along with rotating coordinates according to DS402 and endless forward/reverse applications with overrun.

  • Communicative: MovingCap drives offer a variety of communication options from EtherCAT, CANopen to digital I/O signals and TCP/IP text protocols. This enables flexible integration into various control systems and easy communication with other devices.

  • Servo drives according to CiA 402 and CiA 301: MovingCap drives offer the movement types, setting options and feedback defined in the CiA 402 device profile. Regardless of whether they communicate via EtherCAT, Ethernet TCP/IP socket connections, CAN bus, the website or digital inputs/outputs. MovingCaps enable, for example, precise positioning down to the micrometer range, the drive of conveyor belts with variable speeds, force-limited movements or the execution of reference runs.

  • Micropython built-in: Independent drive programs without PLC - MovingCap Ethernet drives support MicroPython and offer their own drive library. This allows you to store and execute small Python programs directly in the drive, without a higher-level classic PLC. This enables cost-effective, flexible and easily combinable applications without expensive specialization on a fieldbus manufacturer.
