Function 5 activates Quick Stop and sets the following parameter beforehand:
605Ah Quick stop option code = 6 : "Slow down on quick stop ramp and stay in quick stop active"
This means that the drive brakes to zero speed with 6085h.0h quick stop deceleration and then remains in the quick stop active state.
NOTE: In many applications, this function is configured as “LoByte - function number falling edge” (351xh.01h = 0005h), meaning that Quick Stop is triggered as soon as the corresponding input changes from ‘high’ to “low” (falling edge).
NOTE: To completely deactivate positioning, input function 9 - Software Enable can be used.
